According to a notification issued by OGRA, the LNG price for the Sui Northern system has been reduced by $6.81 per million British thermal units, bringing the new price to $19.03 per MMBtu from $25.84 per MMBtu previously.

For the Sui Southern system, OGRA reduced the LNG price by $6.95 per MMBtu. The new price has been set at $18.13 per MMBtu, down from the previous rate of $25.08 per MMBtu.

The reduction represents a significant decline in LNG prices for both gas distribution systems, with the cut for the Sui Northern system amounting to 26.36 percent and the reduction for the Sui Southern system reaching 27.71 percent.

OGRA issued the notification on August 28, 2026, following the review of LNG prices for the two systems.

The new rates will replace the previously notified prices of $25.84 per MMBtu for the Sui Northern system and $25.08 per MMBtu for the Sui Southern system.
