## Investment Overview

JK Spinning Mills Limited disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange that it will spend over Rs2.3 billion (about $8.3 million) on modernising its textile manufacturing facilities. The funding is split between two major projects:

- Fabric processing upgrade – Rs1.789 bn will be used to install a Goller Complexa two‑stage bleaching range with single‑loop washing compartments, an 8‑chamber POSLU stenter (3,400 mm working width), and a biomass‑fired step‑grate thermal oil heater, together with related civil works. - Spinning division revamp – Rs515.5 mn under the company’s Balancing, Modernisation and Replacement (BMR) policy will replace 16 high‑speed LMW Ring Frame LRJ/SX machines, two complete high‑speed Toyota Simplex frames, an automatic bale plucker and associated accessories.

## Expected Benefits

The company expects the new equipment to improve operational efficiency, optimise the spinning process, and raise the quality and competitiveness of its yarn and fabric output. Management highlighted that the upgrades align with its long‑term strategy to modernise manufacturing and meet higher market standards.

## Financing

JK Spinning Mills is finalising documentation for a Long‑Term Finance Facility (LTFF) with local banks to support the project. The financing arrangement is still being completed, but the company confirmed that the required funds are secured.

## Company Background

Founded in 1987, JK Spinning Mills is a publicly listed textile manufacturer involved in ginning, spinning, stitching, and the trade of yarn, fabrics and related products.

## Market Implications

The capital injection signals confidence in the domestic textile sector and could enhance JK Spinning’s profitability, potentially benefiting the broader Textile index on the PSX.
