## Rs 3 billion Export Development Fund
In partnership with the Export Development Fund, EXIM Bank launched a Rs 3 billion credit‑insurance facility aimed at addressing the financing gaps faced by SMEs—particularly the lack of collateral and documentation. The fund will protect exporters against commercial and political risks and facilitate access to working‑capital financing against insured export contracts.
## Digital Platform Partnership
EXIM Bank also entered into an agreement with AutoSoft to develop a digital platform that will streamline and digitise its services, improving speed and accessibility for exporters.
## LCCI Help Desk for Exporters
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol pledged full cooperation to EXIM Bank and ICIEC. A dedicated help desk will be set up at LCCI to guide its 48,000‑member companies—ranging from large manufacturers to SMEs—on export‑related financing, insurance and regulatory matters.
## Broader Industry Engagement
The bank is organising CEO round‑tables with leading banks and chambers to identify exporter challenges and devise practical solutions, reinforcing its business‑oriented approach despite limited resources.
## Outlook
These coordinated efforts aim to diversify Pakistan’s export base, reduce the current trade deficit (imports near USD 70 billion), and generate foreign‑exchange inflows, which could positively influence export‑driven sectors on the PSX.
